It's easy, just join us in our efforts to encourage community compassion, no long term commitment expected.

Reach out and allow others to reach in. Start a compassion pod - the pod can be an individual, community or organization effort, reaching out to conduct wellness checks on people in need until the right kind of supports can be obtained. First responders everywhere need this support as well - they can only do so much to help.

Hand out a compassion card so people can take personal responsibility to identify those they can count on - it may be a friend, a family member or an organization that can be their contact. It is a reminder to the individual that there is someone or something there for them.

We can make it happen!

Help build community compassion:

  • Organize a meetup in your community and help get people there (Pin up posters, ask local organizations to get on board and keep it going)
  • Let us know the efforts your community will be undertaking to build community compassion and we will post it
  • Become a community champion - reach out to talk to somebody that just needs someone to listen - lend a helping hand when you can. We will honor you
  • Reach out to your First Responders continuously - they need your support and encouragement- let them know that they are valued

There are ideas to come - remember the answer comes for the dialogue
