Suicide Awareness & Prevention | September 9, 2020🎗
Suicide Awareness and Prevention is more than the way person died, it is about what led them down that path, the path of no return.
The Trauma, the personal experiences, the stigma, the depression, the inability to talk about the dragon they carried.
While we look round us, let us be reminded by the compassion we have, and the compassion that others need.
At the ’beginning of each day, let us look around and recognize that we are much more than our family name, we are human beings entitled to receive love and acceptance.
As we navigate the day, we are genuine beings who look to have the basic necessities, the most important of all is the sacredness of breath. When you see someone with a broken arm, we ask ”how can I help?”
It should be as simple to ask that question to someone struggling with depression as well.
September is Suicide Awareness Month, but so are all the months before and after.
We can be the change we want to see!
