Helplines are Important | August 4, 2020 📓
The National Helplines are important.
The Provincial Helplines are important.
We have many dear Family and Friends that are grieving the suicide death if a loved one, and as their support, as your support friends and family we must be able to speak the silent word.
Suicide is not the cause - Mental Health, Depression, isolation, trauma, PTSD, are the cause. Suicide is the action that ends the personal pain.
If you know someone is hurting, that deep emotional pain, reach out to them, if they are being coy, or avoiding the subject, please find another way to reach in. It is difficult -it is a difficult subject to talk about.
Also know that the Local detachment of the RCMP, or City Police, the Crisis Line, 911, The Fire Department, Ambulance Attendants, EMT’s, are available for you or your family to talk to.
Find someone who you trust- please start talking ..Keep Talking!
As we grieve the death of a child - and coming together as community members will always be the support to “get us through”
We can not simply get over the Darkness, or “Get over” the death, we have to go through it so we can deal with the Dragon’s Fiery Breath on our chest.
Grief is a big life lesson, and when we come together-as one ..We Can get through it..
We can go Into the Storm together..
